Introduction

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using Volto Air. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Volto Air app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision Pro (including the App Clip, widgets, CarPlay, Siri Shortcuts / App Intents, and Apple Watch companion when available), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The Short Version

• Volto Air lets you discover and listen to internet radio, podcasts, audiobooks, and Apple Music–powered music features in one Apple app.
• No account is required. The app is provided "as is" without guarantees about stream or catalog availability.
• Optional Pro subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple, not by us directly.
• Downloads, recordings, imports, and clips are for your personal use. You must respect third-party content rights, including Apple Music and podcast publisher terms.
• We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

1. About Volto Air

Volto Air is a media player and discovery app. It helps you browse, search, favorite, and play internet radio stations, podcasts, and audiobooks; identify songs on live radio with Shazam; view lyrics and artist details; connect Apple Music for charts, playlists, catalog playback, and library tools; set radio or podcast wake alarms; generate transcripts; optionally record, download, or import audio for personal use; sync your library through iCloud; use CarPlay, widgets, Live Activities, Siri Shortcuts, and Watch controls when available; and access optional premium features. Volto Air is an aggregator and player — it does not own, operate, or broadcast the underlying radio, podcast, or music streams.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Volto Air. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Volto Air on Apple devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes, and in accordance with Apple's App Store rules and these Terms.

4. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the app except as permitted by law.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, subscription, entitlement, or free-tier limit features (including rewarded-ad unlocks).
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of third-party rights.
• Scrape, bulk download, or redistribute streams, catalogs, recordings, downloads, clips, or app content except as expressly allowed.
• Use the app to build a competing product or service using our catalog, branding, or app design.
• Remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices from the app or its content.

5. Acceptable Use

You are responsible for your use of Volto Air and for ensuring that your use complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws, including copyright, broadcasting, and telecommunications laws in your region. Features such as stream recording, episode downloads, local imports, clip sharing, and Apple Music playback do not grant you any extra rights in the underlying content.

6. Third-Party Content & Services

Volto Air relies on third-party services and content providers to function, including radio stream hosts, podcast and audiobook publishers, Apple Music / MusicKit, Apple's ShazamKit, Apple Speech, Podcast Index, LRCLIB, Apple CloudKit, catalog CDN, YouTube, MusicBrainz, Wikipedia, country-detection services, Mixpanel, Google AdMob, and Google Firebase. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, accuracy, legality, or policies. Your use of Apple Music is also subject to Apple's Media Services terms. Optional Spotify import is subject to Spotify's terms.

7. Radio, Podcast, Music & Streaming Content

Stations, podcasts, audiobooks, Apple Music catalog items, artwork, metadata, lyrics, videos, and streams are provided by third parties. We do not guarantee that any station, episode, track, or playlist will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free of offensive or inaccurate material. Streams and catalog availability may change, move, or stop working at any time without notice. The app may filter explicit content when device Screen Time or Apple age-range settings require it; parental discretion is still advised.

8. Downloads, Recordings, Imports & Clips

Optional podcast downloads, radio recordings, local file imports, OPML / library imports, and short clips are licensed to you only for personal, non-commercial playback on devices you own or control. You may not sell, publicly perform, broadcast, or otherwise redistribute that audio or video. You are solely responsible for confirming that your recording, download, import, or share is allowed in your country and by the content owner. Volto Air does not provide legal advice and is not a party to your use of third-party content.

9. Voluntary Tips

Some podcasts may invite optional Lightning (cryptocurrency) tips when that feature is available. Tips are voluntary payments from your own wallet to the creator. They are not App Store in-app purchases, are not processed by us, and are not refundable through Apple or Volto Air.

10. Advertising

The free version of Volto Air may show banner ads from Google AdMob and may offer optional rewarded ads you choose to watch to unlock limited features. Ads are not shown to Pro subscribers or users who purchased ad removal. Ad personalization depends on your App Tracking Transparency choice, as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Volto Air offers optional in-app purchases, including auto-renewing Pro subscriptions, a lifetime unlock, and ad removal. Prices and plan length are shown in the app before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. All payments, billing, renewals, refunds, and purchase history are handled by Apple through the App Store. Pro features may include global station access, unlimited favorites and history, offline podcast downloads, Apple Music library sync, alarms, sleep timer, EQ, stream recording, iCloud library sync, and an ad-free experience — as shown in the app at purchase time.

12. Apple App Store Terms

Volto Air is made available through the Apple App Store. In addition to these Terms, your use of the app is subject to Apple's applicable App Store terms, including Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA).

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VOLTO AIR IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE VOLTO AIR.

15. Privacy

Your use of Volto Air is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

16. Changes, Suspension & Termination

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after the updated Terms are posted means you accept them. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time. We may terminate your license if you breach these Terms.
